Gifts For Your Guests

Wedding dates are out. The pre-requisite to planning a wedding is to decide if you want a destination wedding. And then the guests you wish to invite. You consult destination wedding planner in India. And they suggest you the best destinations in the country and give you a tentative budget guideline for the specified number of guests. We are sure the guest list plays an important role in the wedding. These days’ weddings are intimate affairs and you would just want the dear one’s to be a part of your BIG DAY. Inviting few but close one’s will also keep a check on the budget. You work and re – work on the list and then after a long discussion with immediate family, you are all set with your guest list.

This is a fact your dear friends, cousins and other relatives take out time from their busy schedule and travel from different parts of the globe to give their presence in all the ceremonies and make the wedding memorable for you. It is indeed your responsibility to make their stay special and memorable. Pamper them with warm hospitality, sight-seeing plan of the city, delicious food and exciting gifts. Well, who doesn’t like gifts!!! We are sure each one of us does. In today’s blog we share a list of possible gifts and stationeries (notes) you could give your guests throughout the wedding. These gifts need not be expensive, but will certainly make a lasting impression on your guests.

They check-in to the hotel, make them feel at ease with a Welcome basket. As soon as they enter the room they see a hamper!!! Make sure it consists of – a welcome note, itinerary of the wedding (events, timings and venue), sight-seeing plan of the city, chips, dry fruits, sweets, mints, chocolates, and beverages to name a few.

Next gift is more of a thank you gesture in the form of notes. Send them Good – morning and Good – night notes. You can pair the notes with fresh flowers & fruits (for morning) and something to munch on (for nights).

You could also make each ceremony full of surprises by giving gifts to your guests. You can plan separate gifts for the ladies and the gentlemen or just have a standard set of gifts for everyone. Let’s start with Mehendi; since it is more of a female oriented function you can keep stalls for the ladies to pick up gifts of their choice. There are a number of stalls you could go for – bangles, parandi, leheria dupatta, nail art kit, gota rings, earrings, and anklets to name a few. For Sangeet you can go little classy with – aromatic candles, clutches, brooches, and show pieces that defines the city, and more. What better than to give a box full of sweets, along with a thank you note and a small idol of Lord Ganesh (symbolic to removal of obstacles) and a bag of sweet memories to give your guests as a wedding gift.

Hope you liked these budgeted gift ideas we shared above. Which ones would you keep for your wedding!!
